Maddox Sematimba

Maddox Ssemanda Sematimba is a Ugandan roots reggae musician known for emotional Luganda love ballads and social songs.

Born in Kampala in the early 1970s, he initially worked as a primary school teacher before pursuing music.

He moved to Sweden in 1991, where he developed his sound and recorded with Small Axe Productions.

His debut album “Tukolagane” (2000) produced classics like “Namagembe” and “Eddembe.”
